About these terms

These terms apply when you use retrogameforce.com ("Retro Gameforce", "we", "us") and when you buy a game from the Retro Gameforce store. The games in the store are developed and published by Fire Dragon Interactive in collaboration with Retro Gameforce.

By using the site or making a purchase you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.

Payments and our reseller, Creem

Our order process is run by our online reseller Creem (creem.io). Creem is the Merchant of Record for every order: it processes your payment, charges and pays any VAT or sales tax, issues your invoice or receipt, and handles refunds and payment disputes. Creem's own terms of sale apply to the payment.

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where it applies. We never see or store your card details.

What you are buying

The store sells digital downloads of retro games, for emulators and for original hardware, for example PRG, D64 and TAP files for the Commodore 64. Each product page lists the files and formats you receive.

Products marked as pre-order, coming soon, in development or not yet available cannot be bought. We only take payment for a product that is ready to download. Physical editions shown in the store are for information only and cannot be bought at present.

Delivery

Once your payment is confirmed you are taken to your download page. Download links on that page stay valid for 15 minutes, and the page can request a fresh set of links at any time. Please save the files to your own device.

If a download does not arrive or does not work, email support@retrogameforce.com with the email address you used at checkout and we will help.

Your licence

Buying a game gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download it and play it on your own emulators and hardware. You may keep backup copies for your own use.

You may not share, upload, resell, rent out or otherwise distribute the game files or disk and tape images. Copyright in the games stays with Fire Dragon Interactive.

Refund policy

You can ask for a refund on any purchase within 14 days of buying it, for any reason. Email support@retrogameforce.com with the email address you used at checkout and your order or checkout ID. Creem issues the refund to your original payment method.

After 14 days we will still refund a game that is faulty or does not work as described if we cannot fix the problem. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Using the website

Articles, reviews and other editorial content on Retro Gameforce are protected by copyright. You may link to and quote them with attribution. Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amiga and other platform names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Liability

Games are supplied as described on their product pages. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. The terms in force when you made a purchase apply to that purchase.
