Japanese hardware company Zuiki has brought one of Tokyo Game Show 2026's more unusual retro demonstrations: a smartwatch-sized gaming device capable of running Mega Man on its tiny built-in display. The miniature machine appeared alongside the company's more conventional gaming hardware, including controllers designed for current Nintendo systems, but naturally attracted attention because of the contrast between classic console software and an extremely small wearable-style form factor. The prototype resembles a smartwatch physically, yet is being presented as a miniature retro gaming device rather than simply a watch carrying a novelty game.
