Super Sean 007: Legend of the Seven Gems Arrives on Commodore 64 as Fire Dragon Interactive Launches New Fantasy RPG

Fire Dragon Interactive releases Super Sean 007: Legend of the Seven Gems on Commodore 64 via Snack Break Games, featuring 5 party members and 8 fantasy regions.

The Commodore 64 has gained another substantial role-playing adventure, and this one features a heroic birthday celebration that goes disastrously wrong. Super Sean 007: Legend of the Seven Gems is now listed in the native Commodore 64 catalogue at Snack Break Games, priced at €4.99 as a digital D64 release. Developed by Fire Dragon Interactive, the game follows Sean after the evil Xelar the Bald Wizard destroys the Village Crystal of Asteria and scatters its seven magical Gems across the land. Recovering them requires travelling through eight regions, including Birthday Village, Mushroom Meadow, Crystal Cave, Petro Plains, Ruushwood, Moon Shrine, Ancient Ruins and Bald Moon Tower. Along the journey, four companions join Sean, creating a five-character party with different combat abilities. Sean uses Crystal Slash, Dave provides Gadget Guard, Petroman offers Iron Guard, Ruush attacks with Twin Arrows and Haraku contributes Moon Blessing. Battles use a turn-based system that rewards studying enemy behaviour rather than repeatedly selecting the strongest attack. Major opponents have distinctive patterns, including Guardian Prime's mechanical dials and Xelar's devastating Bald Beam. Exploration incorporates treasure chests, puzzles, shops and inns, while disk saving allows players to continue their adventure over multiple sessions. The game features original multicolour graphics, distinctive environments and a ten-song SID soundtrack. Programming is credited to Giovanni Ambrosini, graphics to Jakub Nowak and music to Peter Nagel. The official product page identifies version 3.0.0 and offers a free limited demonstration covering the opening chapter. The complete edition is intended for compatible Commodore 64 hardware or emulators. At €4.99, Super Sean 007 brings a surprisingly ambitious fantasy journey to a computer introduced forty-four years ago. Apparently even the Commodore 64 understands that no birthday is complete without an evil wizard ruining everything. Official game page: https://www.snackbreakgames.com/retro/super-sean-007-c64/.
