AYN Confirms Odin 3 Portal Pricing and Opens the Door to November Shipments

AYN announces pricing for Odin 3 Portal handheld starting at $399 with Qualcomm Dragonwing Q8, 120Hz OLED, and preorders opening October 22.

AYN has finally answered one of the biggest questions surrounding its upcoming Odin 3 Portal handheld: how much will it cost? The manufacturer has confirmed three configurations, with preorders scheduled to begin on October 22 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time, corresponding to the early morning of October 23 in the Netherlands. The entry-level Base model combines 12GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and carries an introductory price of $399. The Pro version retains 12GB of memory but increases storage to 256GB for $479. The Max model provides 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $549. These introductory prices represent discounts of $20 for the Base and Pro models and $30 for the Max. All three configurations use Qualcomm's Dragonwing Q8 processor with Adreno 830 graphics. Additional specifications include a seven-inch 1080p OLED display operating at up to 120Hz, a 9,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Android 15. The handheld weighs approximately 450 grams and will be available in black, white and Cold Grey. AYN expects shipping to begin in early November, although this remains a manufacturer estimate rather than confirmation that every preorder will ship immediately. The announcement is significant because the Odin family has become an important benchmark for premium Android emulation handhelds. Processing power, screen quality and cooling performance all matter, but pricing ultimately determines whether a device represents good value. The Odin 3 Portal now has an identifiable position in the market. Whether it deserves that position will depend on independent testing rather than promotional specifications.
