1994 Super Famicom RPG Feda Is Playable at TGS Ahead of SUPER Yanoman Collection

Edia showcases a playable build of 1994 Super Famicom tactical RPG Feda: The Emblem of Justice at Tokyo Game Show ahead of its SUPER Yanoman Collection release.

Another piece of 16-bit Japanese RPG history has appeared on the Tokyo Game Show floor, with Edia demonstrating Feda: The Emblem of Justice as part of its upcoming SUPER Yanoman Collection. Feda originally launched for the Super Famicom in 1994 and developed a cult following for its tactical battles and unusual alignment system, which tracks the player's behaviour along concepts of justice and order. The collection also contains Song Master and Trinea, bringing together three games originally published by Yanoman during the company's relatively brief involvement in the Japanese videogame business. Edia currently plans to release SUPER Yanoman Collection on December 10, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. At Tokyo Game Show, Feda is the title currently confirmed as playable. The compilation follows Edia's increasingly active work restoring Japanese console games that historically received limited availability outside their domestic market. Whether the collection will receive a full English localisation has not been confirmed. That question will be particularly important for Feda and Song Master because both contain substantial Japanese text. Even without localisation news, the appearance of a playable build at TGS provides reassurance that the collection is progressing toward its December launch and puts a relatively obscure group of 1990s Super Famicom games back in front of a modern audience.
