Marmalade Valley

Package concept complete

A distinctly Sinclair-era treatment for Marmalade Valley, built around the classic cassette-case-and-inlay presentation while retaining Pip, the orchard setting and the game’s bright cozy personality.

Current truth: this is approved package concept art for the planned ZX Spectrum 128K edition. Native gameplay implementation, exact final media format and emulator/release acceptance still remain to be completed.

Sinclair identity

The black plastics, rainbow striping and bold typography deliberately give this edition a ZX Spectrum 128K identity rather than reusing the C64 or MSX2 presentation language.

Same valley, new shelf presence

Pip, the orchard, plums and village scenery remain recognisably Marmalade Valley, but the packaging is composed as a period retail object that could sit naturally beside late-1980s Spectrum software.

Development status

The artwork is production-ready for the website. The game itself remains a planned platform edition, so the page intentionally makes no claim of a finished TAP/TZX build or release-certified cassette.
